Shotgun 

• Participants must bring their own ammunition to the event for inspection by the Event Director.
• Only new, factory loaded, shells in the original box will be allowed.
• NO RELOADS WILL BE PERMITTED.
• The shells can be no larger than 2 ¾ inches with 1 ⅛ oz. of lead shot
• The shot size must be #7 ½ , #8, or #9
• Once the Event Director determines the ammunition is satisfactory, the participant will carry their ammunition with them throughout the course of the event.
  

• Responsibility for safe handling of the ammunition is placed on the participant and coach
• Any incident that is determined to be unsafe will be brought to the Event Director and MYSC board for disciplinary action.

Rifle

• All ammunition must be .22 caliber long rifle cartridges
• Standard and high velocity will be acceptable
•  Bullets must be lead with a round nose, NO HOLLOW POINTS
• All ammunition must be submitted during the event registration in a container labeled with the team
• name. The individual boxes inside the container must be labeled with the participants name. DO
• NOT PLACE LABELS ON THE BOXES SO THEY OBSTRUCT THE SPECIFICATION OF THE
• SHELLS.
• Event staff will move the ammunition to the rifle event for inspection by the Event Director
• Coaches will be responsible for removing and securing any remaining ammunition once the team
• has completed the event
